The Encounter Community Church

VERSE OF THE DAY:
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true -- even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. -- 1 John 5:20

Encounter Church: A multi-ethnic, Jesus Cultural Community.

1. The Cause:
The Cause of Christ, "From the inner city, to the outer nations!" Bringing Salvation Healing, and Deliverance to the lost, hurting and broken. Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting those that are in prison. *Luke 4:18-19

2. The Connection:

Engaging in true Worship & Connecting to God our maker which connects us to one another as a families, and as people of God that learn together, grow together, and share life together. *Acts 2:41-43

3. The Community:

Learning interdependence, to become The Church with one common purpose, Endeavoring to walk in unity by learning to love one another with the Love of Jesus. sharing that love by serving and doing good in our surrounding community. *Acts 2:44-47

4. The Commission:
We are one Family and we are also one army, raised up from death, to bring life under the Lordship of the King of Kings, Walking in His authority to see the Kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven. *Matt 28:18-20
